I'm Kym, - but I now use the pen name C.H Squirrels. I have severe ADHD. I'm not exaggerating that either. Last year I found myself finally able to see a psychiatrist that specialises in ADHD. I was merely a few numbers away from getting 100% on the quiz.
The one quiz in my life that I almost got 100% on, and it was a fucking ADHD quiz.
I possess a very neurodivergent brain, ADHD being the majority of it. It has caused me a lot of problems in the past with friendships and relationships. There is a possibility that I am on the autism spectrum, however, I really can't go through the process of getting diagnosed, so I just identify as neurodivergent, only going into details when needed.
I have two amazing children, I'm a single parent working in SEN Education. I'm also attending university. ☺ on my last essay I scored 85% which is my greatest academic achievement to date.
I spent years on/off book blogging. Books are a special interest of mine. 😉 Just writing about books all the time became very boring after 7 years. I have many other interests that I want to talk about, but running a book blog, I became tied to just making book content. Eventually, I started hating it. Then I stopped yearning to read, it didn't feel fun anymore.
So Chasing Squirrels was born!
